CHAIRPERSON BENAZIR INCOME SUPPORT PROGRAMME SENATOR RUBINA KHALID MEETS PUBLIC REPRESENTATIVES AND PARTY LEADERS IN HYDERABAD

Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, met with public representatives and party leaders in Hyderabad today. During the meeting held at Shahbaz Hall, the Mayor of Hyderabad, Kashif Shoro, MPA Saima Agha, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh Information Secretary Ajiz Damra, PPP leader Azhar Ali Sial, Ladies Wing President Sanam Talpur, Syed Ali Hassan Shah, Umair Chandio, Noor-un-Nisa Abro, Zahida Memon, and others were present.
The meeting began with Fateha and prayers for the eternal peace of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. Senator Rubina Khalid addressed the attendees, emphasizing that 9.3 million deserving women are being provided financial assistance through the Benazir Kafalat Program. She highlighted that this initiative has empowered women by giving them both identity and economic independence. Furthermore, she pointed out the global demand for skilled labor and shared that the Benazir Skill Development Program will provide technical training to the children of deserving women, enabling them to secure employment abroad.
Senator Rubina Khalid reiterated that there is no registration fee or form for the Benazir Income Support Program, and all communications are sent exclusively from the number 8171. Public representatives and PPP office bearers raised concerns about ensuring the inclusion of deserving women in the Benazir Kafalat Program in Hyderabad and the establishment of a tehsil office in Tando Jam.
