In a significant move to further strengthen the Benazir Income Support Programme's efforts to alleviate poverty and empower marginalized communities, Chairperson BISP Senator Rubina Khalid met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan Senator Ishaq Dar. During the meeting, Senator Rubina Khalid apprised FM Ishaq Dar of the new banking model introduced by BISP, designed to facilitate easy, dignified, and transparent disbursement of funds to beneficiaries. This innovative approach is expected to significantly improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of BISP's cash transfer programs.
