BENAZIR INCOME SUPPORT PROGRAMME TO SUPPORT 10 MILLION FAMILIES BY YEAR-END; KAFAALAT INSTALLMENT TO INCREASE TO RS. 13,500 BY JAN 2025: SENATOR RUBINA KHALID

Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, announced that the number of families benefiting from BISP will reach 10 million (1 crore) by the end of this year. She expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for increasing the financial budget of the Benazir Income Support Programme, which will result in the quarterly installment of the Benazir Kafaalat being raised from 10,500 rupees to 13,500 rupees starting in January 2025. Senator Rubina Khalid shared these remarks while speaking to media representatives at the zonal office of BISP in Gilgit.
