OFFICERS FROM 37TH SENIOR MANAGEMENT COURSE VISIT BISP HQS TO GAIN INSIGHTS INTO SOCIAL PROTECTION PROGRAMS
A delegation of 17 officers from the 37th Senior Management Course (SMC) at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Islamabad, visited BISP Headquarters today. Chairperson BISP, Senator Rubina Khalid, and Secretary Amer Ali Ahmad welcomed the SMC officers. The purpose of the visit was to explore BISP's operations and expertise in implementing social protection programs aimed at uplifting marginalized segments of society.
While addressing the officers, Senator Rubina Khalid stated that BISP embodies the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, providing a national identity to millions of poor women in the country. She emphasized that biometric verification of payments ensures the mobility and empowerment of beneficiaries. She further highlighted that BISP upholds transparency and respects the dignity of its beneficiaries, in line with the directives of the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari.
