CHAIRPERSON BISP SENATOR RUBINA KHALID MEETS CHAIRMAN PTA MAJOR GENERAL (R) HAFEEZ UR REHMAN

Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Senator Rubina Khalid met Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman today at his office to discuss collaborative efforts for combating online misinformation and improving communication services for BISP beneficiaries.
During the meeting, the Chairman PTA assured full support in expediting the process of blocking fake URLs that misuse BISP’s name to spread disinformation. PTA will also assist in training BISP personnel on using the PTA portal for efficient reporting, which will further speed up the blocking process.
