Each beneficiary has a smart card, beneficiary visits franchisee and presents Benazir Smart card along with CNIC. Franchisee scans the Benazir Smart card and that same information is sent to Server for validation. In case of validated beneficiary, request will be sent to e-Wallet Management System (eWMS) to authenticate payment. Franchisee hands over cash to the beneficiary upon receiving confirmation from eWMS.
In this disbursement mechanism NADRA will issue Benazir Smart card to each beneficiary. Beneficiary approaches to a Point of Sale (PoS), swap card and gets payment in case of positive authentication response. Transaction is recorded in the server. Presently, Card to Phone mechanism is being implemented in the four said districts.
